SHREK Principal Auditions

This first round of auditions will focus on the principal and featured characters below. Ensemble and other supporting roles auditions will be held at a later date.

Join us in our Season 29 Summer Musical, SHREK THE MUSICAL.

Please prepare TWO audition pieces: one upbeat and one ballad from Shrek OR any other musical. Each audition piece should not exceed 2 minutes. Bring sheet music or a track to sing along with. There will be an adapter for any phones or iPads. Please no acapella auditions.

There will be cold readings from the script. Scripts are available for 48 hrs ion the FTC box office, Monday-Friday 9:00am-1:00pm.

There will be a brief movement audition so please dress accordingly.

Godspell Jr.

A group of disciples help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques, and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, are employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Jesus’ message of kindness, tolerance, and love comes vibrantly to life.

Students 7th-12th are welcome to register. Registration opens soon.

Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach JR. is a brand-new take on this "masterpeach" of a tale. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean, and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks, and plenty of disagreements along the way. (Rated G)

THE SWEET DELILAH SWIM CLUB TICKETS ON SALE APRIL 1st

Five Southern women whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids, and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage, the “Sweet Delilah” on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives. The Sweet Delilah Swim Club focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years. As their lives unfold and the years pass, these women increasingly rely on one another, through advice and raucous repartee, to get through the challenges (men, sex, marriage, parenting, divorce, aging) that life flings at them. A hilarious and touching comedy, The Sweet Delilah Swim Club, is about five unforgettable women and friendships that last forever. (Rated PG for Adult Situations)
